It all started over a beer in an Oxford pub. Not The Eagle and Child made famous by the Inklings. No, this was a discussion in the comfortable bar of The Lighthouse which lead to the creation of The Lighthouse Partnership (probably just as well we were not drinking in the sadly departed the Far From the Madding Crowd !). Anyway, there we were – three friends, ex-work-colleagues and independent consultants offering our services to pharma companies big and small, biotechs, start-ups and communications agencies, comparing notes on trends and new business opportunities. It was not too many pints in before we decided that the mix of access, medical affairs and commercial expertise which we have between us, created the perfect complementary offering of key pre- and peri-launch services which pharma, biotech and med-tech companies and start-ups need to go-to-market (or to find a partner/joint venture).
Between us we have been involved in the launch of over 50 new Rx products across all major therapy areas. We have worked directly for and/or with most of the top 20 pharma companies plus many mid-sized and newly emerging SMEs in the healthcare sector.
